      As a child I was always fascinated by the thought of angels – particularly the Cherubim and Seraphim who I felt held a special kind of magic. Like all children I was familiar with the Archangels Gabriel, Michael and Raphael from bible stories and I have always believed that I have a Guardian Angel although I prefer to use the term ‘Companion Angel’.

       I have taken my ‘openness’ to Angels into my adult life – although I am not always consciously aware of their presence as I go about my everyday tasks I trust that they are with me, guiding and protecting me in my psychic work, especially when healing.

     Angels come and go at will – their purpose is to do the bidding of the ‘Divine Spirit’ and they are not meant to be the servants of men. Angels are creatures of immense power and you cannot compel an Angel to do anything. It is for this reason that I do not recommend evocation or invocation as a method of communication with the angels, preferring instead to meditate safe in the knowledge that my angelic companions will take the time to listen to me and are there to guard, guide and help me.

     I do try to dedicate some quality time to the angels each week – although I cannot afford them the luxury of a whole day. Regular meditation ensures that I am aware of and open to the help that is offered to me from the Celestial Realms and I feel more at ease with, and connected to, these non-human spirits than I ever have before. They have become my angelic friends and I know they will be there whenever I need them.
