The mundane, or physical pathway, is the one on which you learn to deal with your physiology – the body you were born into. You discover what you are physically capable of achieving. You learn to love your figure and your features. You will develop strategies to cope with illness, disease, disfigurement or disability. This is also the material path, the route to wealth, possessions, career or duty. On this you can discover the drive that you need to make the most of your life. This pathway comprises the Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus chakra.
The emotional pathway is one on which you learn about relationships and your special place within your family and society. Whilst on this journey you will discover for yourself the many facets of the emotions of love and hate. You will learn to cope with disappointments and to be grateful for and celebrate achievement. You will laugh and you will cry. You may be hurt by words, stung by actions or experience the bliss that comes from true love. This path will also reveal your passions and your hates and you will learn what you must do to deal with the issues yet to be resolved. This path is connected to your Heart chakrum.
The mental pathway is the one on which you learn to take control of your own destiny; you discover meaning in your life; you develop intellectually; you learn to use reason and logic; you store memories both happy and painful; you learn to communicate; you plan ahead with confidence and achieve your goals. This is also the path of contemplation, reflection, creativity, imagination, dreams, astral travel and astral clairvoyance. This path connects to your Throat and Brow chakra.
On your spiritual pathway you gain an understanding of life beyond the physical plane. You recognise and celebrate your innermost self. You welcome the difficulties and challenges that life throws at you no matter how hard the journey to enlightenment. This is the journey wherein your soul leaves all that is mundane. You ascend beyond thought and leave emotion behind as you travel through the planes of illumination and universal knowledge. You will experience the ecstasy that comes when you truly achieve expansion of your cosmic consciousness and blend self with the universe. You will become at peace with the world and with yourself. This is also the path of spiritual clairvoyance. On this journey you will uncover the residual karmic energies inherited from your experiences in past lifetimes. This path connects to the Crown Chakra.
